The 20262027 school year at Huber Heights City Schools is just around the corner!

This page is your one-stop shop for important back-to-school information, including start dates, school supplies, open house details, and more. Content will be updated throughout the summer, so be sure to check back regularly to stay informed and ready for the year ahead.

  • The school day start and end times have been updated for the 2026–27 school year. Please review the schedule below to see when your building’s school day will begin and end. You can also see a schedule for every building.

    Studebaker Preschool
    8:20 to 11:15 a.m. (morning session)
    12:25 to 3:20 p.m. (afternoon session)

    Charles Huber and Monticello Elementary Schools
    8:20 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.

    Rushmore, Valley Forge, and Wright Brothers Elementary Schools
    9:05 a.m. to 3:55 p.m.

    Weisenborn Junior High School
    7:20 a.m. to 2:20 p.m.

    Wayne High School
    7:25 a.m. to 2:25 p.m.

  • HHCS has utilized TransFinder, a national school bus routing software provider, to determine school boundaries and transportation routes for the 2026-2027 school year.

    Families can use the Infofinder tool, also found on the transportation form in Final Forms, to determine if their address qualifies for transportation. Bus information will be emailed to parents in August.

  • Mark your calendars! The first days of school for the 2026–27 school year are listed below. Please review the schedule below carefully:

    • Tuesday, Sept. 8—First day for grades 1–12, Warrior Academy students, and preschool students with last names A–K only

    • Wednesday, Sept. 9—First day for preschool students with last names L–Z only

    • Friday, Sept. 11—First day for all kindergarten students

  • Families can now apply for free or reduced-price meals for the 2026–2027 school year. A new application is required each year, and only one needs to be completed per household. To get started, visit the PaySchools Central website.

    Students who qualify for free meals may also be eligible to have school fees waived. Submitting your application early helps ensure everything is in place before the first day of school.

  • If you need to register a new K-12 student for the 2026-2027 school year, you can do so through FinalForms. If you have questions or need assistance, visit the registration webpage or contact the HHCS Registrar at registrar@myhhcs.org.

  • Open House Schedule

    Wayne High School: Sept. 2, 4–5 p.m.

    Weisenborn Junior High: Sept. 2, 4:30–5:30 p.m.

    Elementary Schools: Sept. 2, 5:30–6:30 p.m.

    Kindergarten: Sept. 9, 4:15–5:15 p.m

    Studebaker Preschool: Sept. 2, 4 p.m.

     

    Weisenborn Junior High Schedule Pickup

    Weisenborn Junior High students can pick up their schedules at the Weisenborn main office on the following dates and times:

    7th grade: August 27, 9–11:30 a.m.

    8th grade: August 28, 1–3 p.m.

     

    Wayne High School Schedule Pickup

    Wayne High School schedules should be available to view on ProgressBook beginning TBA. Check your ParentSquare account for more information.

  • Get ready for back-to-school shopping by checking your child’s school supply list below. Also, don’t forget that Ohio’s Sales Tax Holiday runs from August 7–9. It’s a great time to save on school supplies and other essentials.

  • Parking passes for the 2026–2027 school year will go on sale in August. Seniors may purchase passes on August 17 from 7:30–11 a.m. and noon–3 p.m. Underclassmen may purchase passes on August 18 during the same hours.

    Parking passes will continue to be available throughout the school year during regular office hours.

    To purchase a pass, students must bring:

    • A valid driver’s license (no temporary permits)
    • Proof of insurance
    • A completed parking pass application (both pages)

    Passes are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $20, but students with a Renaissance card may receive a pass at no charge.
