Huber Heights City Schools is launching a new form of school-to-home communication called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform, which replaces our current SendIt system, is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with our district, schools, teachers, coaches, and more. All district and school, grade-level, and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text using ParentSquare. An account has already been created for you using the guardian information found in your student’s FinalForms account, and you will receive email and text message notifications through your ParentSquare account. For even more convenience, you can download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices) and opt to receive messages using the app.
We encourage you to register your ParentSquare account by visiting ParentSquare and entering the email address or phone number you have on file in FinalForms to take advantage of additional features such as two-way communication with your student’s teacher and school, signing permission slips, RSVP for events, and customizing your message delivery methods. If you do not activate your account and adjust your settings, you will receive all non-critical notifications in a digest format, meaning all messages will be sent at 6 p.m. and will be sent in English. If you would like to receive the messages at the time they are sent, and/or translate them into another language, you will need to adjust the settings in your account. If using the translation service, please note that all messages you send to district staff will be automatically translated to the recipient’s preferred language. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent/guardian who is connected to a Huber Heights City Schools student account in FinalForms. We encourage parents to register their ParentSquare accounts to download the mobile app, update their notification preferences and preferred language, and activate the two-way communication feature. To register, visit the ParentSquare website and enter the email address or phone number you have on file in FinalForms to register a new account.
Please check your spam filter to see if your messages from ParentSquare were delivered there. If so, mark “Not Spam” and add donotreply@parentsquare.com to your email contact list. If you still aren’t receiving messages, please contact your school office.
You will receive information about all of the students you are connected to through a single ParentSquare account. For example, if you have a student at Charles Huber Elementary and Weisenborn Junior High, you will receive messages from both schools and will be able to directly communicate with the schools once you register your account.
If you are not receiving information about one of your students or do not see information about your student in your ParentSquare account, your contact information may not be consistent in FinalForms, or you may have more than one ParentSquare account with different contact information.
Please check your FinalForms account to ensure you have the same email and phone number on file for all children in all schools.

If you need to update your email or phone number, please update the information in your student’s FinalForms account. As a reminder, if you have multiple students, you may need to update the information in each account.
Once changes are made to FinalForms, the information will appear in ParentSquare after the next daily sync.
