FAFSA

FAFSA is for EVERYONE! Each year, our seniors are highly encouraged to apply for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Visit https://studentaid.gov/ to get started.

It's never too early—or too late—to explore your options for college, trade school or career certification. One key step in preparing for post-secondary education is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The FAFSA is not just for four-year college students! ANY student who is enrolled or accepted for enrollment at an institution for the purpose of obtaining a degree, certificate, or other recognized education credential offered by that institution is eligible for financial assistance.

Easy as 1, 2, 3: To see what assistance your student might qualify for, follow these steps:

  • STEP 1: Visit the FAFSA website at https://studentaid.gov/. Click “Create an Account” and follow the steps to receive your Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID number.

  • STEP 2: Fill out the FAFSA and submit. It’s that simple! Thirty minutes and zero dollars later, you have completed the FAFSA and increased your student’s chances of receiving financial aid.

  • STEP 3: After a few days, you should start receiving information from your selected colleges or career schools regarding the aid you are eligible to receive. Be sure to check your email regularly during that time and respond by any deadlines!

Now, celebrate your success and start planning for your dream college or career experience!
